GolfLookout.com and LongIslandGolfNews.com would like to announce our first scholarship award. We plan to award one scholarship this year in the amount of $250. Please answer the following question:

What has golf taught you? And, how do you apply that knowledge to your academic career?

Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university in the U.S.
• Enrolled at the undergraduate level
• Age sixteen (16) years or older
• Legal resident of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa
• Carry a status of “Good Standing”
• Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0
• Submit their essay by 5:00 p.m. EST on January 1, 2011
• Essay should be about 500 words in length
