Golf depends on good weather. If you’re traveling from out of town to play in the Dallas-Fort Worth area you’ll find solid weather every month of the year. Average lows in winter reach near freezing over night, but highs are in the mid-50s. The Spring and Fall offer early morning tee times temps from the mid-50s to the mid-60s and afternoon highs of the mid-70s to the mid-80s. Even the notorious Texas summer offers golfable temps, the dog days of summer see highs in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight and early morning temperatures are in the mid to upper 70s. Dallas-Fort Worth’s coldest month is January when the average temperature overnight is 34°F. In July, the warmest month, the average day time temperature rises to 96°F.
